Job Placements

Students who graduate from the Department of Political Science with master's and doctoral degrees in political science have an excellent record of job placement in recent years. Students with a master's degree from the University of Utah work at all levels of government and hold leadership positions in non-profit organizations, non-governmental agencies and organizations, as well as in the private sector. Ph.D. graduates hold positions at Boise State University, Colorado State University, Drake University, Lake Forest College, Northern Arizona University, Texas Tech, University of Portland, University of Tennessee at Martin, the University of Texas-Dallas, Weber State University, Zayed University, and Abu Dhabi.
