Why I chose Political Science as a major:

My path towards choosing Political Science as my major was a long one with a few changes. I bounced around a bit between Political Science, Communication, and Philosophy. My final decisions came by looking at what I enjoyed the most about high school and that was participating in Debate. I enjoy discussing political theory (especially from a philosophical standpoint), current affairs and international relations. I am focusing my degree towards World Politics and International Affairs.

Favorite tip for academic success:

My tips for academic success would be... be academic. Our grades depend on us. How often we read the course material, how often we go to class and how involved we are in class. I would also be cautious of overloading yourself.

Extracurricular Activities:

I am involved with ASUU as a member of the Government Relations Board, I volunteer coach a high school debate team and have been doing so for over five years, I also participate in the Political Science Student Advisory Committee when my schedule aligns with meetings and activities.

Post-Graduation Plans:

After graduation... well, I am playing with the idea of grad school and obtaining a masters degree in international affairs.
