Jason (Brad) Nicholson

Bio

Jason Nicholson is a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army with over 17 years of active duty service. He is a first year doctoral student in the department with International Relations as a major field and Comparative Politics as a minor field. His research focus will examine great power grand strategy towards the developing world. Originally commissioned into the Field Artillery, Jason now serves as a political-military strategist with a focus on Africa. His military assignments include the Joint Chiefs of Staff, US Africa Command, and US Embassies Tanzania and Uganda. Brad is happily married to his college sweetheart and they have three wonderfully well-traveled children.
