Undergraduate Student Advisory Committee

The purposes of the SAC are to promote and organize departmental activities, to promote communication between the student body and faculty, to coordinate with and promote other student organizations, to communicate activities specific to the department's discipline, to participte in the faculty retention, promotion and tenure process, to coordinate course evaluations, and to play an active role in community outreach and service projects.

The SAC encourages student participation, works to develop activities in which students can participate, and assists with organizing and facilitating programs which foster departmental interaction. The SAC serves as a liaison between the various groups within the department and the students and is responsible for making the department administration aware of student issues.
